The Assessment Services unit is responsible for providing business analytical support, leadership, and coordination for University-wide assessment and quality assurance.
Its mission is to provide on-going analysis and research on Pacific's departments, divisions, and programs in efforts to improve efficiency at Pacific. Areas of investigation include, but are not limited to:
- Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
- Needs Assessment
- Program Review
- Program and department level assessment
The office works collaboratively with other university offices to address questions raised by university staff and administrators. This collaboration involves development of project goals, measuring instruments (such as on-line surveys and focus groups), statistical analyses, and reporting mechanisms that lead to evidence-based decision making.
