Agreements for the use of intangible property, usually the result of creativity or specialized research (i.e., patents, trademarks, and copyrights).

Final Signature Authority:
Associate Provost for Research and Collaborative Programs and Provost. Presidential approval for all potentially significant agreements based on Provost determination.
Additional Information and Requirements:
- Legal counsel review at the discretion of the Provost and/or President;
- Consult with E-Commerce Compliance Officer if agreement involves the electronic transfer of payment information.
