Mr. Heaton joined Pacific as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) technician and shortly thereafter, he was promoted to HVAC lead. Later, he assumed responsibility for the plumbing operation followed by the electrical, and by 1991, his areas of responsibility expanded to energy management. In 1994, Mr. Heaton was promoted to Operations Manager, Assistant Director, and then Interim Director. In 2006, Mr. Heaton became the Director of Support Services and in 2012 was promoted to Assistant Vice President. Additionally, he has a variety of experience ranging from construction to slot machine repairs to running a pizza restaurant.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Mr. Heaton oversees and directs the Stockton campus Support Services operation, including but not limited to duplication, mail services, central receiving, alarm shop, lock shop, campus construction, custodial, and landscaping.
