University of the Pacific Endowment Returns 13.1% for Fiscal Year 2017

University of the Pacific's Endowment returned 13.1% for the 12 months ended June 30, 2017 vs. 11.6% for its custom benchmark, reported Bayani Jol Manilay, Assistant Vice President and Chief Investment Officer for the University.  For the period ending June 30, 2017, Pacific's endowment had total assets of $423 million, up 13% from June 30, 2016.  Over the last three years, the endowment has returned 3.7% on annualized basis.  Over the last five, the annualized endowment return has been 8.1%.  The endowment's current target asset allocation is 24% domestic equities, 22% international equities, 11% fixed income, 16% marketable alternatives, 16% private equity, 10% real assets and 1% cash.
