University of the Pacific Endowment Returns 1.9% for Fiscal Year 2015

University of the Pacific's Endowment returned -2.9% for the 12 months ended June 30, 2016 vs. -0.2% for its custom benchmark, reported Bayani Jol Manilay, Assistant Vice President and Chief Investment Officer for the University.  For the period ending June 30, 2016, Pacific's endowment had total assets of $373 million, down 3% from June 30, 2015.  Over the last three years, the endowment has returned 5.1% on annualized basis.  Over the last five, the annualized endowment return has been 4.7%.   The endowment's current target asset allocation is 25% domestic equities, 23% international equities, 12% fixed income, 13% marketable alternatives, 3% Global Tactical Asset Allocation, 14% private equity, and 10% real assets.
