Staff Performance Reviews

 Announcement from Human Resources for Stockton Supervisors and Staff

It is getting close to that time again when staff receive annual performance reviews.  Please remember that performance reviews are:

  • an integral part of day to day operations, as well as long-range planning
  • a way of maintaining open communication between supervisors and staff;
  • a way of offering staff constructive insight into their own career development, as well as assistance in meeting professional goals; and
  • an opportunity for supervisors and staff to discuss the successes in accomplishing the past year's goals and to establish a plan for achieving University and department goals and objectives in the coming year.

The review process, from start to finish, takes time to complete properly.  Plan accordingly and allow enough time to prepare thoroughly for the review; discuss job performance, along with setting goals for the coming year; complete the University performance review form with all of the required signatures; and return to Human Resources no later than July 1, 2015.
