University of the Pacific is committed to fostering and maintaining a respectful and positive campus climate. Our policies, such as those that prohibit sexual and other unlawful harassment and discrimination, reflect our dedication to this commitment. To support this commitment and California law, the University provides on-going sexual harassment prevention training to its faculty, staff and student employees.
To maintain compliance with the law, sexual harassment prevention and Title IX, VAWA (Violence Against Women Act) and the Clery Act training is required at least every two years (within 6 months of hire and during each official training year - 2014, 2016, 2018, etc.)
