Sacramento Box student art contest

Sacramento Box logoWant to help Pacific grow its presence in the Sacramento region? Submit a work of art for the Sacramento Box!

The Sacramento Box is just what it sounds like - a box filled with items representative of the Sacramento region (such as Blue Diamond almonds made in Sacramento, Kings and Sac Republic memorabilia, photos of the Delta, etc.). With every box purchased, a hot nutritious meal is provided for a homeless man, woman or child at a partner charity, Sacramento Loaves & Fishes. With Pacific's Sacramento Campus expansion, it's important  that we're visible throughout the Sacramento region and finding ways to best serve the community.

You can help by creating a work of art (sketch, draw, paint, illustrate, etc.) exemplifying the Sacramento region. The Tower Bride or Capitol Building would be great options.

Sacramento Box

Submit your design via email to Janelle Meyers (jmeyers1@pacific.edu) by April 15 (vertical or horizontal, jpg or pdf). The chosen design will be printed on hundreds of promotional items (canvas bags, note pads, etc.) that will be included in the Sacramento Box and given to business and community leaders throughout the greater Sacramento region. The artist of the winning design will receive a GoPro Hero and their name and graduation year will be featured with their design on all the swag.

The Sacramento Box student art contest is hosted by the Office of External Relations. For any questions, contact Janelle Meyers (jmeyers1@pacific.edu, 209.932.3041).
