Thomas J. Long Foundation Core Scholarship Program
Annual Award: $3,000 scholarship, for a total of 10 Current Pacific Students
Established in 2000 to support Pacific's general education program, the Thomas J. Long Foundation Core Scholarship Program provides an incentive for students to perform well in their general education courses. The Thomas J. Long Foundation Scholarships are open only to current undergraduate students who meet the following criteria and who will be returning for the next full academic year as an undergraduate student:
Suggested Minimum Criteria:
A minimum overall 3.5 GPA in Pacific general education courses and:
- Completion of a minimum of five general education courses at Pacific, including the Pacific Seminars, that are not in the department of your major. For example, a physics course would count as one of the five courses for a pre-pharmacy or engineering major. Ideal candidates will demonstrate excellence in a broad range of disciplines.
- Demonstration of promise of leadership in academic or extra-curricular activities.
- Submission of the T.J. Long Foundation Core Award Application Form by March 1, 2013.
