Sakai

Pacific Sakai is a collection of individual sites primarily used to enhance classroom-delivered courses at Pacific. These sites are hosted on a remote server dedicated to the exclusive use of Pacific students, members of the faculty, and other organizations within the Pacific community.

Available via the Internet 24 hours-per-day, 7 days-per-week, this Web-based software can be accessed from any location, requiring only a working Internet connection and installed Java-enabled browser software such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, or Safari.

Contact the  Customer Support Center Helpdesk for any technical issues, such as:  Contact the  Center for Teaching and Learning for any instructional design items, such as: 
  • Logging into Pacific Sakai and password resets
  • Errors or bug reports when using Sakai tools or functions
  • Creating, designing, and managing Sakai course sites
  • Best practices and useage guides for tools and integrations within Sakai (TurnItIn, Kaltura Video Streaming, BlackBoard Collaborate Online Classroom, and VoiceThread)
  • Consulting and training can be customized for delivery on a one-to-one or small-group basis
