Installation of Pamela A. Eibeck

Mar 12, 2010

Please join the University community, in the Alex G. Spanos Center, as we formally install Pamela A. Eibeck as the 24th President of University of the Pacific.

President Pamela A. Eibeck will be formally installed in a ceremony in the Alex G. Spanos Center on Friday, March 19, at 10am. A rare event for any university, Presidential installations showcase much of the pageantry and broad participation involved in commencement exercises. President Eibeck's installation is intended to be a University-wide celebration and will be open to students, faculty, and staff as well as to the entire community.

President Eibeck in Academic RegaliaThe President has designated the morning of March 19 as a University convocation, allowing classes and administrative offices to be closed and encouraging all to attend. Inevitably, some courses, offices, and essential campus services will need to operate as scheduled. Closures are therefore left to the discretion of faculty and office managers. All students and staff should coordinate their participation with their faculty members and managers, respectively.
