Final IPC Budget Recommendations, Review "Community Letter": 

Committee members briefly discussed the recommended tuition increase of 5.9% for the Stockton Campus for 2010-11. No changes were made to the budget recommendations through page 7 (Revenue Assumptions (3 campuses); Stockton Campus Undergraduate/Graduate Tuition and Fees; Pharmacy & Health Sciences Tuition; Law School tuition; Dentistry School Tuition; Student Fees; Gift Income; Endowment; Proposed Expenditure Budget Enhancements/Stockton Campus.

The Committee then reviewed each budgeted item: Stockton Campus: Investments in Distinctiveness (Strategic Directions 3, 4); Investments in Student Competencies (Strategic Directions 6, 11, 12); Investments in Wellness, Recreation and Athletics (Strategic Directions 12); Athletic Programs; Investments in Marketing Capacities (Strategic Direction 15); Investments in Maintaining Student Access (Strategic Direction 16); Investments in Competitive Compensation (Strategic Direction 17); Investments in Aligning Technology with University Priorities (Strategic Direction 18); Investments in Administrative Systems (Strategic Direction 18); Investments in Effective Budget Management (Strategic Directions 19); Investments in New Facilities & Deferred Maintenance (Strategic Direction 20); Sacramento Campus: Investments in Pedagogy & Research (Strategic Direction 3, 4); Investments in Marketing Capacities (Strategic Direction 15); Investments in Maintaining Student Access (Strategic Direction 16); Investments in Competitive Compensation (Strategic Direction 17); Investments in Aligning Technology with University Priorities (Strategic Direction 18); Investments in New Facilities & Deferred Maintenance (Strategic Direction 20); San Francisco Campus: Investments in Academic Distinctiveness (Strategic Direction 3); Investments in Pedagogy & Research (Strategic Direction 4); Investments in Diversity (Strategic Direction 11); Investments in Student Competencies (Strategic Direction 12); Investments in Competitive Compensation (Strategic Direction 17); Investments in Staff Rewards and Programs (Strategic Direction 17); Investments in Administrative Systems (Strategic Direction 18); Investments in Effective Budget Management (Strategic Direction 19).
