Announcements:
The end of year wrap-up will be held between June 16-18. Please submit scheduling issue to Debra Miller.
The summer schedule was reviewed to include the Dean's presentations. There will be no meeting on 6/25 and 7/2.
Reports:
Enrollment
Gilbertson reported that freshmen enrollments appear to be ahead of initial expectations and should come in between 760 and 800.
Discussion:
Budget and Planning Assumptions
Perro reported that energy costs were expected to be flat and that item nine could be deleted from the listing.
The next draft of the Planning Guidelines were discussed.
Priorities for resource allocation were reviewed and revised.
Environmental Scan: SIS
Dean Ensign presented an overview of the School of International Studies primarily designed in response to IPC's key issues of academic resource planning. She reviewed SIS distinctiveness, future enrollment goals, connections to COP curriculum, the MAIR graduate program, foreign language requirements, and study abroad issues. She also discussed long range opportunities and the international education environment.
