The Faculty Success Program (often referred to as 'Boot Camp') is offered by the National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity. Faculty-to-Faculty Presentation: Experiences with the Fulbright US Scholar Exchange Program

This joint presentation by two recent Fulbright Scholars and members of the Pacific faculty will focus on their unique experiences with the Fulbright US Scholar Exchange Program. Dr. Coburn will share his observations and experiences from eleven months living, teaching, composing, and finding his way through the many layers that are contemporary Japan, while Dr. Peterson will discuss her experiences serving for five months as a visiting lecturer in Malawi, one of most under-resourced countries in the world.

Kerry Ann Rockquemore, Ph.D., Executive Director of the National Center for Faculty Development & Diversity (NCFDD), author, former professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and regular contributor to Inside Higher Education presented this workshop focusing on common issues faced by mid-career faculty. Dr. Rocquemore presented a framework to identify what might be holding them back, and developed a personalized diagnostic plan to move forward.
