Assistant Professor in Bioengineering
The University of the Pacific School of Engineering and Computer Science invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in Bioengineering. This Assistant Professor level position will be available in August 2013 but may start December, 2013. Exceptionally well-qualified candidates will be considered for higher ranks. Candidates should have earned a Ph.D. in Bioengineering, Biomedical Engineering or closely related field. Candidates should have expertise in teaching advanced topics such as bioelectricity, bioinstrumentation, circuits, physiology, and/or senior design. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential. The successful candidates will be committed to providing a high-quality undergraduate engineering education, and will be expected to make significant contributions to the development of courses in bioengineering. They will also be expected to engage in research.
