Assistant Professor in Engineering Management

The University of the Pacific School of Engineering and Computer Science invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in Engineering Management at the Assistant Professor level, starting in August 2013.  Exceptionally well-qualified candidates will be considered for higher ranks.

Candidates must have an earned Ph.D. in Engineering Management, Industrial Engineering or other related field, with background in engineering management, systems engineering and production. Preference will be given to candidates with prior teaching and industry experience. Candidates that have demonstrated an ability to effectively teach diverse students are preferred. The successful candidate will be committed to providing high-quality undergraduate engineering education, and will be expected to engage in scholarly and professional activities.  He/she will also have the opportunity to help build the Engineering Management Program and collaborate with others at the School of Engineering and Computer Science, as well as other units of the University.  Information about the School of Engineering and Computer Sciences and the University may be found at http://www.pacific.edu.
