IV. Policy Changes- Pass/No Credit Grading System and Activity Policy
Peggy Rosson gave an overview of ARC’s suggestion to clarify the letter grade for pass. The suggested revision to the activity policy is to delete the last sentence that specifies a course.
-E. Boyce moved to leave the current language as is with no change in catalog, A. Boboc seconded, 1 abstention, not approved.
-A. Richard moved to approve, M. Bhattacharyya seconded, approved.
V. EER Team Four Report
Rahim Khoie reported on the progress of WASC Team Four. The team interviewed the Provost, President and VP’s to collect feedback from prior program reviews. The faculty wanted a different program review process. A new program review schedule was created for all programs. Some of the teams recommendations included: improved closing of feedback loops, especially in resource allocation; strengthen link between program review and Student Life, especially in co-curriculum review; improve monitoring of pr; higher level of involvement of the President, Cabinet and Regents; and higher level of transparency.
