III. Calendar
The 2010/11 Academic Calendar was reviewed for final voting; guidelines were created to format the coming years calendar. Every fall the committee will review the following year's calendar and adjust any dates as needed. An overview of the new calendar includes; Commencement will fall on the first Saturday in May, the second Monday in Spring will be the start of the semester, three full summer sessions, mid-year disqualifications will occur before break, and the calendar allows Housing a week more to prepare student housing. Academic Council will vote on the 2010/11 calendar next week.
