Service Disruption Update

Updated Tuesday, June 27th, 10:00 a.m.

Due to a power failure in the University Data Center on May 16th, University of the Pacific experienced technology service disruptions.  

To address the issues encountered, Pacific Technology created a three phased approach to continue the recovery and restoration of services.  The approach is defined as follows:

Phase 1 - Recovered Service Completion - end of May - all systems functioning and accessible. Complete.

Phase 2 - Normal Service Performance - end of June - all services are operating at pre-outage performance targets. Complete.

Phase 3 - Future Service Improvement - end of August - a plan is developed to implement preventive and sustained services.  Started.
