Janet Schellhase Dial, Ed.D joined Pacific in 1985 as an Admission Counselor and spent the next 15 years in the Admissions Office, including a stint as Director of Admissions. In 2001, Janet moved into University Development, where she served as the Director of the Annual Fund (now Pacific Fund) for four years during the capital campaign, Investing in Excellence. In 2005, Janet joined the Eberhardt School of Business as the Director of Major Gifts. Six years later, Janet was named the Associate Vice President of Development, where she is responsible for the fundraising teams for the academic units, major gifts, Athletics, the Brubeck Institute and Tomorrow Project fundraising. When asked about her favorite part of the job, Janet said, "working with Pacific's wonderful alumni and friends as well as the outstanding faculty and staff to realize their philanthropic dreams is the best part of my day!"
