Pacific Fund Scholarships and Grants

Nabeel CajeeThe Pacific Fund supports University of the Pacific's goals and mission by providing Student Aid and Pacific Fund Grants which are a direct result of the generous annual financial support from alumni, parents, employees, students and friends. Every gift to the Pacific Fund goes directly towards student access and academic innovation. Pacific Fund Grants Support Hands-on Learning by funding experimental learning opportunities, scholarship and research for students, faculty, and staff. A wide variety of projects are supported including research assistantships, thesis projects, study abroad, field work, upgrade of lab equipment, academic travel, research expenses and other hands-on learning initiatives. Students and faculty in every college within the University benefit from Pacific Fund.

This year more than $275,000 in Pacific Fund Grants are available thanks to the support of our generous donors last year. As the Pacific Fund grows we will be able to provide more support to students who are doing unique and amazing things here at Pacific.

Professor Elena FranciscoGrants can be used for activities such as academic travel, competition fees, research funding, professional conferences, workshop fees, lab equipment and more. Each division and college sets the requirements on grant allocation, eligibility, application procedures and deadlines. Grants are distributed in varying amounts and are a request-for-proposal process. Funds are distributed through the Undergraduate Research Task Force, Student Life Division, and school and college Dean's Offices. Contact the appropriate office for more information and to apply.
