Carole Gilbertson
Carole has been working part-time in Development Research since October 1997.
Her prior professional background was in Music Education.
She has a BA degree in Music Education and a MA degree in Musicology.
She has taught all levels of music.
- Provides full biographical and short bios of data collected in a timely, accurate and clear manner for use by the President and University Advancement Staff; she handles the Dental School requests in particular
- Conducts in-depth research using on-line resources, electronic databases, and printed resources, on individuals, businesses, and foundations to support the University
- Reviews the 'news alerts' from Hoover's Online, Lexis-Nexis, and Google to secure pertinent information for the files on alumni, parents, and friends of the University
- Serves as a mentor to new research staff in order to orient them to the research field and position
