2014 BHM Common Keynote Promo

Grammy Award-winning hip hop artist and actor Common is the featured keynote speaker for the 2014 Black History Month Celebration.  On Saturday, February 8, 2013 at 7 p.m., he will speak and perform at the Bob Hope Theatre in downtown Stockton.   Common has release 10 albums over the course of his career that feature a mix of poetry flow and diverse musical influences.  His film credits include Smokin' Aces, Wanted, Street Queens, Now You See Me,Just Wright, Happy Feet Two, and Date Night with Steve Carell and Tina Fey.  He is currently one of the lead characters in the AMC hit cable television western, Hell On Wheels.  Common is also the founder of the Common Ground Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to youth empowerment, leadership and educational development, and creative expression.
