Holiday Roar 2012

on Dec 3, 2012

Members of the Pacific community - students, faculty, staff and their families - gathered for holiday fun in the Don and Karen DeRosa University Center on Tuesday, November 27, for the Holiday ROAR. Activities for children included balloon animals, decorating a giant gingerbread house and playing in real snow. Guests enjoyed great food by Bon Appetit and holiday tunes played by the Patrick Langham Group. At the event, President Eibeck announced that the University community had contributed more than 3,000 books to the Reach Out And Read San Joaquin book drive from which the event drew its name. The event included a visit from Santa, the lighting of the holiday tree and the craziest Christmas sweater competition. A good time was had by all.
