24 Hours of Walking for a Cure
The community will walk around the clock to help the fight against cancer.
For 24 hours participants of the University of the Pacific Relay For Life teams will walk to help the fight against cancer. Pacific will work with the American Cancer Society to host the first Relay For Life at the DeRosa University Center.

WHAT: University of the Pacific and the American Cancer Society will bring the first Relay For Life, 24 hour walk for a cure to Pacific's campus this Saturday, April 24.
WHERE: DeRosa University Center

WHEN: 10 a.m., April 24 to 10 a.m., April 25
The opening ceremony will be at 10:00 a.m. on April 24
Luminaria Ceremony (remembrance ceremony) at 8:30 p.m., April 24
The closing ceremony is at 9:00 a.m., April 25.
WHY: This is the first time that Pacific will work with the American Cancer Society to have the Relay for Life at the DeRosa University Center. It is a great opportunity for photos of community members interacting with Pacific students, staff and faculty.
President Eibeck will be speaking at the Opening ceremony and attending the Luninaria Ceremony.
