    Men's Water Polo: Goran Tomasevic Earns Third-Team All-American Honors

    Freshman Goran Tomasevic (Split, Croatia) of the Pacific men's water polo team earned third-team All-American honors from the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) on Jan. 29, 2010.

    Tomasevic appeared in 26 games during his freshman campaign, recording 37 goals, 14 assists and 41 steals. He finished the year fourth in goals and second in steals on the team, additionally he was the only freshman in the MPSF's Top 25 individual scorers. He closed out his freshman season with a 1.42 goals per game average and a 37.0 scoring percentage.

    Tomasevic is the first Tiger to earn All-American honors since Duje Kaurloto and Dragan Bakic in 2007. He was also named 2009 MPSF Newcomer of the Year in addition to earning All-MPSF Honorable Mention honors. Goran is the first Pacific Tiger to be named the MPSF Newcomer of the Year and earn All-American honors in the same season.
