For the first time since April 22, 2005, Pacific's women's water polo team is ranked in the Collegiate Water Polo Association's (CWPA) Top 20 Poll. Prior to this week's No. 16 ranking the Tigers had received six votes in the last two polls. This is also the first time the Tigers have been ranked under head coach Megan Thomson.

Road Runner Recap Last weekend at the Road Runner Invite, the Tigers defeated No. 16 California Baptist 9-7. Freshman Jasmine Myles (Auckland, New Zealand) notched four goals in the contest while freshman Brooke Millar (Auckland, New Zealand) recorded 13 saves in the cage. In the second game of the day the Tigers were able to notch six first quarter goals against No. 9 Hartwick, but the Hawks came back in the fourth quarter to defeat Pacific 10-9. Pacific rebounded on Sunday, picking up wins against Colorado State and Occidental. The Tigers finished the weekend going 3-1 and outscored opponents 44-25.

Pacific travels to Seaside, Calif., on Saturday, Feb. 20, to take on the Cal State Monterey Bay at 12 p.m. The Tigers then return home Sunday, Feb. 21 as they host Santa Clara at 12 p.m.
