UPDATE: Phone Service to Stockton and Sacramento Campuses Has Been Restored

    Aug 21, 2010

    8 p.m.:

Phone service to the Stockton and Sacramento campuses has been restored. Thank you for your patience.

    6 p.m.:

Phones on the Stockton and Sacramento campuses are currently unable to make or receive off-campus calls, due to a fiber optic line being accidentally cut this afternoon. TelePacific, the university's telephone provider, is aware of the problem and is currently trying to fix the issue. Internal extension-to-extension calls on the Stockton and Sacramento campuses still work and the emergency blue phones also are still functioning for both campuses.

If there is an emergency on the Stockton campus, use your cell phone and call 209.598.2546, or use the nearest emergency blue phone.  If there is a housing emergency, contact your residential advisor, or call public safety and they will call a residential advisor for you.

On the  Sacramento campus, call 916.737.3501 to reach public safety for all emergencies  or housing issues.

A message will be sent out to both campuses once service is restored.
