    Pacific Swimming: Nathan LeRoy Qualifies For the 2010 Short Course National Championships

    Nathan LeRoy and Jordan Litz of Pacific's men's swim team traveled to Irvine to compete in the 2010 ConocoPhillips National Championships held Aug. 3-7. As part of Tiger Aquatics Swim Club, LeRoy competed in the 100 and 200 Breast while Litz swam the 200 and 400 IM.

    LeRoy placed 54th in the nation in the 100 Breast with a time of 1:05.43. He then went on to touch the wall in 2:23.03 in the 200 Breast for a 63rd overall finish. LeRoy's times in the 100 Breast (1:05.43) and the 200 Breast (2:23.03) qualified him for the 2010 Short Course National Championships that will be held Dec. 2-4 in Columbus, Ohio.

    Litz completed the 400 IM with a time of 4:32.16 to finish 57th. In his second individual event, Litz placed 115th in the 200 IM, touching the wall in 2:10.15.
