Pacific Men's Tennis: Men Close Weekend With Loss to No. 47 Hawaii

The Pacific men's tennis team closed out its weekend at the UNLV Tournament with a loss to No. 47 Hawaii Sunday morning.

Due to weather conditions, the teams began with singles competition and never made it doubles play before the contest was called. The Tigers fell to 3-6 overall with the loss.

Senior Renan Delsin (Santa Cruz da Conceicao, Brazil) earned the only win for the Tigers in the match. Playing out of the No. 4 position, Delsin defeated Jeremy Tweedt 7-5, 7-6.

Pacific travels to Nevada next on March 13. The match closes out a month long road trip for the Tigers. Play is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. in Reno, Nev.
