Woman's Water Polo: Tigers Fall To No. 17 in Coach's Poll, Face Fresno-Pacific and Concordia

Despite winning 11 consecutive games, the Pacific women's water polo team fell one spot to No. 17 in the latest poll released by the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA). Pacific has appeared in the CWPA's Top 20 poll for its fourth consecutive week. Prior to this week's No. 17 ranking, the Tigers spent three weeks at No. 16.

Previous to this week's poll, Pacific went 4-0 against competition at the Cal Lutheran Spring Classic in Thousand Oaks, Calif. On Saturday, March 6 the Tigers cruised past Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, 16-2, to pick up their 12th win which tied the 2005 squad for most wins in a season. Pacific then went on to defeat Wagner, 14-11, and set a new program record for most wins in a season with 13.

Pacific returns to action Saturday, March 13 in Fresno, Calif. The Tigers take on Concordia at 1 p.m. followed by Fresno-Pacific at 4 p.m.
