Women's Waterpolo: Tigers Remain No. 16 in Coach's Poll, Travel to Cal Lutheran Spring Classic

In the latest poll released by the Collegiate Water Polo Association, Pacific's women's water polo team remained at the No. 16 spot for the third consecutive week.

Pacific went a perfect 3-0 against completion last weekend, picking up victories over California Baptist, CSU Monterey Bay and Santa Clara. In the second home contest of the season, Pacific defeated California Baptist 8-6 while freshman Jasmine Myles (Auckland, New Zealand) notched three goals in the contest. The Tigers opened the Santa Clara Invite picking up a 15-7 win over CSU Monterey Bay with Myles leading the Pacific tallying five goals. In the Pacific's final game of the weekend, junior Dara Tawarahara (Honolulu, Hawai'i) found the back of the net four times to help the Tigers defeat host Santa Clara, 9-4. Freshman Brooke Millar (Auckland, New Zealand) finished the weekend with 29 saves in the cage.

Pacific returns to action March 6-7 at the Cal Lutheran Spring Classic in Thousand Oaks, Calif. The Tigers begin tournament action against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps at 11 a.m. More information regarding the 2010 Cal Lutheran Spring Class is available on the tournament home page.
