The University of Pacific's Center for Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE) invites the community to attend an Open House from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 27th, 2010, at our new location at 1776 West March Lane Suite 290, in Stockton, California.

The University recently moved its professional development training center off-campus to be more accessible to the public and the local business community.  As part of the University's strategic plan to "look beyond the gates", CPCE is committed to serving the local area by providing degrees, certificate programs, training sessions, and lifelong learning opportunities for local residents and businesses.

CPCE's new location has three training rooms of varying sizes and provides business, civic, and governmental organizations an easily accessible, user-friendly, completely wireless, high-tech meeting environment.  Interactive "Smart Board and Televisions" provide electronic ink, capture, and white boarding capabilities. One classroom is a computer lab that accommodates up to 20 work stations.  These facilities are available for local businesses and organizations, volunteer or professional, to rent to discuss their work, learn best practices, and strategize for the future.

The Center of Professional and Continuing Education invites the community to see first-hand its new facility.  The event will begin at 3:30 p.m. with an official ribbon cutting at 4:00 p.m.  Come and see how CPCE is serving the training needs of the business community by providing degree, certificate and non-credit training programs to support workforce development in Stockton and surrounding communities.
