Ribbon Cutting for the John T. Chambers Technology Center

    Oct 1, 2010

The public and campus community are invited to a ribbon cutting for the recently completed John T. Chambers Technology Center.

In the spring of 2009, Pacific's School of Engineering and Computer Science broke ground for the John T. Chambers Technology Center. The 23,500 square foot facility, which was designed to meet LEED Gold standards, will provide cutting-edge technology facilities for superior teaching, learning, and research, while serving as an integrative force for the entire institution for technology and for all disciplines and programs in the School.

The main features of the Center include: 7 research, teaching, and industry project labs, 28 faculty offices, 1 studio classroom and lab, 2 lecture labs and classrooms, 1 reception area, 2 conference rooms, 2 student study areas, and 1 Dean's administration area.

The School of Engineering and Computer Science is proud to announce that the Center has been completed one semester ahead of schedule which has allowed students and faculty to occupy the Chambers building early and start a more enriched learning style. Thanks to the wonderful support of our Donors, the superb construction team, and project managers this building was erected in an exceptional amount of time.

We cordially invite everyone to the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the John T. Chambers Technology Center, which will be held at 6:00pm on Thursday, October 7, 2010. Come celebrate the start to a new beginning of learning experiences; this event will be held at John T. Chambers Technology Center and there will be refreshments to follow.
