    Pacific Men's Water Polo: Tigers No. 7 in CWPA Poll for Third Consecutive Week

    Following a 2-2 showing at the NorCal Tournament, Pacific's men's water polo team remains at the No. 7 spot in the latest national poll released by the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA).

    The Tigers picked up wins over No. 10 Long Beach State and No. 9 Pepperdine, while suffering losses to No. 2 UCLA and No. 6 UC Santa Barbara. Pacific's last victory over Pepperdine came during the 2002 season when the Tigers defeated the Waves 9-8 on November 10th.

    Schedule Changes
    Pacific's road contest against California that is scheduled for this Friday, Sept. 24 has been rescheduled to Friday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. in Berkeley, Calif. Additionally the Tigers home game against Pepperdine on Oct. 17 that was set to begin at 1 p.m. is now scheduled for a 2 p.m. start.

    The Tigers return to action October 2-3, in Los Angeles, Calif., at the Southern California Tournament hosted by UCLA.
