Holiday Giving

Oct 31, 2011

Pacific's Community Service Committee and SAC have chosen to support the Child Abuse Prevention Council (CAPC) this holiday season. This program provides gifts, clothing and food to less fortunate families that use CAPC's services throughout the year. We will have families available the first week of November with their names, ages, gender, size and specific requests for articles of clothing or toys.  Gift cards to grocery stores are also requested.  Each child/adult receives two gifts (one item of necessity and one for fun).

If your department wants to adopt a family, please contact Tabitha Clinton at 209-946-2424 or tclinton@pacific.edu. The Community Service Committee and SAC would like to thank the Pacific family in advance for their generosity this holiday season. Happy Holidays!

P.S.  There will also be a volunteer opportunity on December 10th at the First Baptist Church in Stockton where the CAPC will host a "Santa House."  This is a time for all of the participating families to gather for crafts, Christmas carols and cookie decorating.  If you are unable to attend the "Santa House" but would like to help somehow, CAPC is also looking for volunteers to help wrap and deliver gifts to the families homes.

For more information, please visit CAPC's website.
