Animal Shelter Reformer to speak on Saturday

Author, shelter reformer, and Executive Director of the No Kill Advocacy Center, Nathan Winograd will speak in the Janet Leigh Theatre on Saturday, Nov. 5 at 1 p.m. His "Building a No Kill Community" seminar has been called "a prerequisite for rescue groups and organizations that are serious about changing their communities to "No Kill."  This event is free and open to the public and will be followed by a book signing. Sponsored by ELSA (Exposing the Lives of Shelter Animals), Pacific's Jacoby Center for Public Service and Civic Leadership, and Pacific McGeorge Animal Law Society, with funding from Pacific Arts and Lectures.
