The William Knox-Holt Memorial Library will remain closed until Jan. 3, due to extensive work that needs to be completed because of a burst water piper during the weekend. Fortunately, no collections were damaged by the accident, but carpets and drywall must be replaced, requiring large amounts of shelving and books to be moved to other areas of the library for the repairs. While the building may be closed, the Library's online resources are available 24/7 through the website (http://www.pacific.edu/Library.html). In addition, the Health Sciences Branch Library (HSB), located in the School of Pharmacy buidling on the University's North Campus, will be open from 8am-4pm Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, December 22, 23 and 24. HSB provides study space, reference assistance, and access to the Internet and online resources through its Rite Aid Information Commons. We apologize for any inconvenience this unexpected closure may cause.
