"Life of William Grimes, a Runaway Slave"

When Regina Mason was in the 5th grade she discovered that her ancestor wrote the first memoir by a runaway slave. As an adult, she spent 15 years researching the life and experiences of her great-great-great grandfather, William Grimes. Come hear her speak to the Pacific community about her detective work of scholarship and self-discovery.
