Crime Summit for University of the Pacific Area Residents

Several speakers, including the chief of the Stockton Police Department, will address a crowd of concerned residents as part of the University Neighborhood Renaissance Committee's "What to do About Crime" summit at 6 p.m. Thursday.

The presentation at the Stockton Empire Theatre on the Miracle Mile, 1825 Pacific Ave., will feature keynote speaker Eric Jones, chief of Stockton police.

Also slated to attend are Deputy District Attorney Tori Verber, City Councilwoman Diana Lowery and Mike Belcher, Director of Public Safety for University of the Pacific.

The presentation is open to all who want to attend.
