May CMS Opportunities

The Office of Communications is offering several CMS training and drop-in sessions during the month of May. Please note that RSVP's are required for most of these sessions and classroom attendance is capped at 10.  To RSVP for these sessions, please visit https://pacificweb.wufoo.com/forms/cms-training-may-2012-rsvp/

CMS 101 - Friday, May 4th, 1-3 p.m.
For users who have not interacted with the CMS before, or need a review of the basics.

CMS Drop-In Session - Thursday, May 10th from 9 a.m.-noon - Staff Learning & Development Training Room (Bannister Hall, 2nd Floor)
An opportunity to work on your site and to have a Communications staff member available for questions. No RSVP required.

CMS 202 - Monday, May 14th, 1-3 p.m. - Webinar available for this session
An advanced session teaching authors how to create News Detail, Profile and Photo Gallery pages. A minimum of three participants are required for this course.

CMS Drop-In Session - Wednesday, May 16th, 1-3:30 p.m. - Staff Learning & Development Training Room (Bannister Hall, 2nd Floor)
An opportunity to work on your site and to have a Communications staff member available for questions. No RSVP required.

CMS User Group Meeting - Wednesday, May 30th, 2-3 p.m. - DUC 211
The CMS User Group meets monthly and is open to all CMS authors. The user group is meant to be a time for CMS authors to gather, for Communications to share updates regarding the CMS, and for authors to share feedback and concerns. No RSVP is required for the CMS User Group.
