Xin Guo Named 2012 Eberhardt/Teacher Scholar

Xin GuoDr. Xin Guo, Associate Professor, Department of Pharmaceutics and Medicinal Chemistry, was selected as the 2012 recipient of the Eberhardt/Teacher Scholar Award.  This award recognizes faculty members who have demonstrated excellence in teaching and scholarly/creative endeavors. 

"Our department espouses the teacher-scholar model, one of Pacific's core values, and encourages all of our faculty to engage in scholarship to enhance our teaching and student learning," said Dr. Bhaskara Jasti '95, Professor and Chair of the Department of Pharmaceutics and Medicinal Chemistry. He goes on to say that "Dr. Guo epitomizes this teacher- scholar archetype and we are proud of having him in the department."

In addition, Dr. Guo recently received the Holmok Cancer Research Grant for his research on "Targeting Drugs to Solid Tumors using Liposomes". The University funded grant is available to Stockton faculty in support of any aspect of cancer research.
