Distinguished Guest Lecture in Earth & Environmental Sciences

Dr. Paul Umhoefer, Ph.D., a 2012 National Science Foundation GeoPrisms Distinguished Lecturer and professor at Northern Arizona University will give a presentation on Wednesday, Feb. 29 in Olson 120.  His lecture will be on "Why did the Southern Gulf of California rupture so rapidly? Oblique divergence across hot, weak lithosphere along a tectonically active margin."
