Pacific Debaters 1^st in Northern Cal.

Pacific Forensics 2^nd Overall in Northern California!

This past weekend (Feb. 10-12, 2012), Pacific Speech and Debate travelled to Chabot College to compete in the NCFA Championship Tournament (Northern California Forensics Association).  This brought 37 schools from around Northern California and Nevada to compete in many different events.  When everything was finished, Pacific finished second overall as a squad and first in Parliamentary Debate, NFA Lincoln-Douglas Debate, and Extemporaneous Speaking!  Pacific HR (Emma Henry & Mark Rauschmayer) finished in 1^st place in NPDA Debate, Richard Birlew was Top Speaker.  Also, Richard Birlew was first n NFA LD Debate.  Lance Bubak was the champion in Extemporaneous speaking.  Pacific's next tournament is the national championships at Western Washington University.
