No Body is Perfect: A Panel Discussion on Eating Disorders

Feb 2, 2012

You are cordially invited to attend our upcoming No Body is Perfect: A Panel Discussion on Eating Disorders. This informative event will be held at the President's Room at the University of the Pacific on Thursday, February 16 at 6 pm.  Attendees will have the opportunity to ask the panelists questions ranging from how to identify an eating disorder, how to get a friend or family member into treatment  to how are eating disorders treated.

We are pleased to have Dr. Tony Paulson, Psychologist, CEO and Chief of Clinical Officer and Jamie Olivio, RD, Director of Nutrition from the Summit Eating Disorders & Outreach Program, and Barbara McBroom, a therapist who specializes in eating disorders, serve as panelists. All of these clinicians deal with clients with eating disorders on a daily basis. A survivor of an eating disorder will provide a personal perspective on what it is like to have and live with an eating disorder.

We hope you will join us for this exciting event, which is part of Love your Body week at the University of the Pacific. This event is being sponsored by Pacific Health Services, Women's Resource Center, Department of Sport Sciences, and Pacific Recreation.

Please RSVP to Ranai Koch at rkoch@pacific.edu if you plan to attend. We need a head count to assure that we have sufficient seating. However, if you forget to RSVP, no worries - - just show up!

We look forward to seeing you there.
