Institutional Priorities Committee Campus Forums
The Institutional Priorities Committee [IPC] will hold two campus forums to obtain input and feedback on preliminary FY13 budget recommendations. The forums will take place on Wednesday, February 1 at 4:00 pm in the DeRosa University Center's Ballroom B, and on Tuesday, February 7 at 12:15 pm in Grace Covell Hall.
The main focus of the forums will be on the preliminary IPC recommendations for investment in new and enhanced programs on the Stockton campus. Other budget components that will be reviewed include possible increases in faculty/staff salaries, health and other benefits, University debt service, undergraduate tuition and fees, and financial aid enhancements.
Adding to the uncertainty of FY13 IPC budget discussions and preliminary IPC recommendations are proposed changes to the Cal Grant Program which were included in Governor Brown's recently released California state budget recommendation.
