Peruvian Writer to give Lecture in Spanish

Paolo de Lima, a Peruvian writer and professor from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, will offer the lecture  "Arguedas and Westphalen, a literary friendship"  on Thursday, Feb. 2 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. in the Wendell Phillips Center (WPC), room 229. He will also give a poetry recital Friday, Feb. 3 at 2 p.m. at the WPC, room 224.

Paolo de Lima is author of Cansancio (1995), Mundo arcano (2002) and Silenciosa algarabía (2009). ALL EVENTS ARE IN SPANISH, free and open to the public. Sponsored by the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures, and Inter-American Initiative.
