An Evening with the National Council of Negro Women
Pacific Women's History Month presents an evening with the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW), featuring Ms. Tommie Whitlow, member of the NCNW national board of directors, and Ms. Katherine Burton of the Sacramento Section. Join us on Thursday, March 15 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Multicultual Center to learn more about what the NCNW is doing TODAY to lead, develop and advocate for women locally, nationally and internationally!
Since 1935, the NCNW has represented the national and international concerns of Black women, and provides Black women the opportunity to realize their goals for social justice and human rights through united, constructive action.
Food and beverages will be served!
Co-sponsored by Pacific Arts and Lectures, Pacific's Black Alumni Club and the Women's Resource Center.
