Men's Water Polo Sees Five Named To ACWPC All-Academic Team

The Pacific men's water polo team saw five of its student-athletes receive Association of College Water Polo Coaches All-Academic honors, announced Saturday, Mar. 10.

Senior Jasper Visser was one of just 15 selections to receive Outstanding recognition, awarded to those student-athletes that possess a GPA between 4.00 and 3.71. Senior Tyler Reardon, junior Goran Tomasevic, and sophomores Alex Malkis and Balazs Erdelyi were the other Tigers honored for their excellence in the classroom this year.

It was the second consecutive selection for each of the five Tigers. The group was also selected to this season's Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic team.

To be selected to the ACWPC All-Academic team, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.20 and must have competed in at least 50-percent of their teams matches during the current season.
