Members of the Phi Delta Chi pharmacy fraternity will host its 3rd Annual Multicultural Health Fair. Pacific pharmacy students from the Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences will offer a variety of FREE health services such as blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, and osteoporosis screenings. Dental hygiene students will also be providing FREE oral cancer exams, and board patient screenings. Persons who qualify to be a board patient are eligible to receive up to $1,000 worth of free treatment and even cash incentive! Therapists and doctoral interns from University of the Pacific's Counseling Services will also be at the event to provide individuals and families with consultations on stress and anxiety.

The event will also be offering free medication therapy management services, where patients will have the opportunity to review all of their prescription and over-the-counter medications with a pharmacist. Patients are highly encouraged to bring all of their medication and supplement bottles to the event to take full advantage of this service. Additionally, there will be plenty of fun and informational booths available for both adults and children to learn more about health-related topics.
