IT Maintenance August 3, 2012, from 4 a.m. to 6 a.m.
During the regular Friday August 3rd maintenance window from 04:00 a.m. to 06:00 a.m., Banner and other IT services will be unavailable as the network is upgraded and configured to address storage and latency issues with the MS Exchange servers and NetApp filers. University IP Phones will re-register during the outage to the disaster recovery site, and it is not anticipated that the phone system will be otherwise will. The following services will be unavailable during the outage:
- Exchange email
- Virtualized servers
- Virtualized desktops
- Network printing
- Pacific websites including www.pacific.edu, www.mcgeorge.edu and dental.pacific.edu.
